This is just a qiuck note to keep you up to speed and share some information with you! We hope you and your family are doing well and managing through these very unprecedented times!
First off, we want to welcome Cathy O'Toole to our management team. Some of you have had the opportunity to meet with Cathy before "COVID" during her in-office days. Cathy is filling a contract position as the Director of Finance.
The contract has been extended in order to provide continuity during these crazy times! Please join Carol and Teresa and the Board of Directors in welcoming Cathy. She can be reached at finance[at]acotdaycare[dot]com for any financial related inquiries.
We also want to give you an update of where we are in regards to re-opening. We continue to wait for information from our government partners (re. funding) and will be submitting our Pandemic Policies to Toronto Public Health for approval.
Until we get some feedback, direction and approval on these two matters we are at a standstill. So unfortunately, at this time we don't have a confirmed start date as yet. Once we do have a projected start date, we will be sending another survey
out to all families to gather information from you and/or any accommodations we need to prepare for before everyone returns to work. We will also be forwarding the Pandemic Policies (once approvd by Toronto Public Health) which outlines our enrolment
procedures if demand exceeds the limited spaces we may have, and more information around policies and practices to ensure the health and safety of all the children, staff, families and AACD community.
